Jacob’s Stuffed Mushrooms - Jesse Jacobs

  • 1 lb. Cream Cheese
  • 1 lb.  Pork Sausage-Regular
  • 1 lb. Pork Sausage-Hot
  • Green Onion
  • Apple Chipotle Seasoning by John Henry
  • Texas Pig Rub Seasoning by John Henry
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • 60 small-medium sized mushrooms

Cooking Directions:

  1. Clean the mushrooms and remove all dirt.  Remove the stem and core out of the middle of the mushroom.
  2. Prepare the BBQ with Apple and Orange wood chips.  Cook the pork sausage in the Dutch Oven.  Season with Apple Chipotle and Texas Pig Rub.  Drain the fat.  Add the cream cheese and stir together until melted.  Add the green onions.
  3. Fill each mushroom with about a tablespoon of the filling and place on a cookie tray.  Top with Parmesan cheese.  Cook at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
